Praise be to God, Lord of all worlds—praise befitting the majesty of His Countenance and the greatness of His sovereignty; praise that fills the heart with gratitude, the soul with reverence, and the tongue with acknowledgment of His boundless grace and innumerable blessings.
This work does not claim perfection, nor does it presume to attain the final limits of understanding. Rather, it is the humble outcome of a striving spirit seeking to walk beneath the shade of the Divine Word, contemplating its verses and drawing nearer to God through what little understanding, modest effort, and profound hope in His mercy it possesses.
This project has been, above all, a journey into meaning: an attempt to listen attentively to the internal coherence of the Qur’an as it constructs guidance in an integrated and harmonious manner—chapter after chapter, purpose after purpose—whose unity becomes ever more evident through deeper reflection and contemplation.
Whatever success has been achieved herein is by the grace of God alone; and whatever errors, shortcomings, or deficiencies remain are from myself, from the limitations of my understanding and the insufficiency of my abilities. I ask God to pardon all faults and to make whatever goodness this work contains sincere and devoted solely to His Noble Countenance.
I further ask every reader who encounters these lines—whether they touch the heart or invite reflection—to remember me in a sincere prayer offered in my absence: a prayer I may never hear, yet one through which God’s mercy may reach me, becoming a light for me on the Day when neither wealth nor children shall avail, except for one who comes before God with a sound heart.
I pray that God may accept this work with gracious acceptance; that He may render it purely for His sake and beneficial to all who read or contemplate it; that He may grant us an enduring connection with His Noble Book through recitation, reflection, and practice; and that He may make the Glorious Qur’an the springtime of our hearts, the light of our breasts, the healing of our anxieties, and the remover of our sorrows.
And all praise belongs to God, Lord of all worlds, in the beginning and in the end, outwardly and inwardly, in secret and in public.
